Traditional Costume as Art at Schutse Zorg Tholen

Yesterday saw the festive opening of the renovated care complex of Schutse Zorg in Tholen. A special moment, during which two unique artworks by Rem van den Bosch also received a prominent place.

The works, inspired by Zeeland traditional costume, form a modern and colorful ode to tradition, identity, and recognition. In the renovated nursing home, they radiate not only through their color and form, but especially through what they evoke: memories, conversations, and moments of connection.

Art that touches

During the opening, it already became clear how powerful these images are in a care environment. Residents, visitors, and employees stopped, looked, recognized, and told stories. This is precisely where art gains meaning, when it is not just viewed, but also evokes something.

We are proud to have supplied these works. Art that enriches the space, but above all contributes to atmosphere, recognition, and human contact.

The fact that it already did so during the opening says it all.

Love,
Ana
