Where art, heritage, and hospitality meet
Monumental photographic art for Duinhotel Tien Torens in Zoutelande
We are proud to share a special project where art, heritage, and architecture come together. For the iconic Duinhotel Tien Torens, located in the impressive dune landscape of Zoutelande, we had the opportunity to realize a visual makeover with monumental photographic art by Rem van den Bosch.
This award-winning hotel is known for its unique architecture that seamlessly blends into the Zeeland dune landscape. With the addition of large-scale artworks, the hotel has gained an extra layer: a powerful visual identity where Zeeland culture and contemporary art reinforce each other.
Photographic art on a monumental scale
On the exterior of the hotel, impressive photographic images, measuring no less than 2 by 3 meters, have been placed. These works, inspired by traditional costumes, welcome visitors immediately upon arrival. The images not only draw attention due to their size but especially due to their content: they tell stories about identity, tradition, and connection with the coast.
The reactions have been overwhelmingly positive. Guests, passers-by, and art lovers are visibly moved by the images. They spark conversations and connect the past with the present — exactly what Zeeuws Meisje stands for.
This collaboration shows how photographic art, architecture, and hospitality can reinforce each other. By placing traditional costume in a modern, artistic context and literally presenting it on the facade, a layered story emerges that surprises and inspires.
Love, Ana
The project aligns perfectly with the mission of Zeeuws Meisje:
to make the beauty and meaning of traditional costumes visible — not only at home but also in public and special spaces.
A destination where art and nature meet
Thanks to this collaboration, Duinhotel Tien Torens has evolved into a place where art and nature meet. The photographic art here does not function as decoration but as a carrier of identity, history, and future vision. For lovers of art, Zeeland traditional costumes, architecture, and unique wall decorations, this hotel is a destination in itself.
Rem van den Bosch's work can now be found in museums, businesses, and private interiors — and now also as a striking eye-catcher at one of the most unique hotels in the Netherlands.
Art inspires, connects, and makes people pause.
And that's exactly what you see, feel, and experience at Duinhotel Tien Torens — now more beautiful than ever.
